With its friendly staff and a menu brimming with flavorful choices, it’s easy to see why many diners choose this spot as their go-to for a comforting meal. The decor is simple yet stylish, creating a space that feels both modern and welcoming.

The star of the show here is undoubtedly the pho, a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup that comes in various delightful renditions. Definitely try the #5, featuring tender steak and flank, or the hearty #15, which includes steak, fatty brisket, tendon, and tripe. Diners rave about the rich, aromatic broth that’s brewed to perfection, offering a taste experience that warms the soul. The generous portions of meat and noodles ensure you won’t leave hungry—many mention that the large size feels more like a super large found in DC, making it a hearty meal for anyone.

Alongside the pho, Hot Ginger Pho also offers a selection of crispy banh mi and flavorful rice dishes, perfect for those looking to explore beyond noodle soup. For example, the banh mi sandwiches are praised for their flaky crust and sizable filling, while the fried rice options burst with savory flavors, reminiscent of Korean galbi. And let’s not forget dessert; patrons have enjoyed complimentary samples of bubble tea, where flavors such as lavender elevate the experience even further.

Sept 2022 The pho here is absolutely amazing! We got #5 (steak & flank) and #15 (steak, fatty brisket, tendon, & tripe), both large. The broth was delicious, with generous portions of meat and noodles. The price was pretty good for the amount. A note on the portion sizes: the large is the same size as a super large in the DC area and the regular size would be considered a large. They also gave us a generous amount of basil, and the basil itself was decently fresh. We also got a spring roll which was pretty good, but the sauce tasted more like the brown sauce for the pho then the usual peanut sauce. The Thai tea was delicious and not too sweet. A note on the combo options. We got the large pho & spring roll option, and they gave us only one spring roll. Which is different from what's listed in the appetizer section (2 pieces) but makes sense when looking at the prices. I'm guessing the same is for the fried roll combos (1 piece instead of 2), but I'm not sure about the gyoza combos. I'm assuming 5 pieces, but I'm not sure yet. The place itself was clean with lots of room between tables. There was only one staff working the front (drinks, orders, and clean-up), but she was friendly and quick considering how busy it was. Would definitely come again.

As a Pho loving Ginger, we saw this place and had to try it before we leave the state. We get pho quite a bit and it was our first time trying this place. I always get a seafood pho and every store has their own variation of it. If you love clams, these clams were HUGE!! Their shrimp was very meaty like steak almost and the Squid wasn’t overly chewy. It personally made me miss imitation crab and fish balls but this was a refreshing version. The spring roll was delicious and fresh. The Thai tea has been the best one I have had in this area. Clean establishment, fast service, friendly staff!

Generous portions and delicious food! We were quite impressed. The banh mi bread had a nice flaky crust and the sandwich was quite large. The pork fried rice was full of flavor and tasted almost like Korean galbi. The pho broth was rich and had noodles aplenty. They also had colored kids water cups with lids for families with small children.

Pho was $17.99 for a large (pre-tax), salty, and the generous meat portion didn’t match the smaller noodle amount. Was going to rate 3 stars, but the service was excellent — likely the owner — very attentive and even offered a free bubble tea sample. That hospitality earned the extra star.

This is one of my favorite places in town for PHO or a Bahn Mi to be honest it also has better boba tea selections than the other two places that serve them in the same strip mall. The food is always spectacular and so is the service. The vibes are good in the restaurant as well. Don't mind the half eaten plate of Yakisoba (yes HALF eaten) portions are huge!
